About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Kiosk Worker for a casual role at Boambee Creek Reserve. This role is a critical part of our operations and forms part of our wider vision to be a leading provider of recreational destinations that excite guests, energise communities and showcase sensational NSW locations.

The Kiosk Worker is responsible for a high standard of friendly and welcoming customer service to our valued guests. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Undertake preparation and cooking of food;
  • Receiving and dispensing of monies via computerised Point of Sale register;
  • Undertake cleaning of the kiosk area;
  • Assist in taking shelter bookings and yearly passes via the Newbook system;
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained;
  • Assist in opening and closing of Kiosk area and set up and running of children's activities;
  • Assist and direct visitors within the park;
  • Provide excellent customer service;
  • Follow work health and safety procedures, identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks.

The successful applicants will be subject to a National Criminal History Check and a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments, as well as have the right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this.

As this is a child related position you will be required to maintain a paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance as a condition of employment. For more information, visit the Office of the Children’s Guardian website.
