HR Manager (Contractor Part-time)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proven HR professional looking to support the leadership team in the next stage of our growth. The ideal candidate will have around 20 hours per month available ongoing.

Reporting to the Finance and Commercial Manager the role will cover:

Recruitment:

  • Partnering with hiring managers on recruitment, selection and onboarding

  • Supporting the business in identifying future hires, including developing and maintaining systems to support this

Optimisation and Retention:

  • Working with managers to develop and oversee training and personal development plans, which align company objectives with personal aspirations of our people

  • Supporting the sourcing of external training as required and ensuring effectiveness

  • Industry/market-place bench-marking

  • Champion innovation in employee engagement, culture and well being 

Policies:

  • Support policy development as needed

  • Advise on relevant workplace legislation and best practice

  • Oversee adherence and best practice implementation of HR processes, such as employee review and performance feedback and management and potential platforms to support this

This will suit an individual who has other commitments, or arrangements working on a similar basis with other companies

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position

  • Experience within a service delivery organisation 

  • A proven ability to set, track and deliver strong commercial results

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline

  • Have excellent time-management skills and strong attention to detail 

  • Be highly personable and able to build strong working relationships
