One of Australia’s largest business to business publishing and events companies, The Intermedia Group has a vacancy within our beauty, hair and aesthetics subsidiary, BHA Media. We are looking for a strong media sales professional to join our expanding sales team on Australia’s leading B2B hairdressing industry title, INSTYLE magazine, incorporating the STYLEICONS website and inaugural Hair Festival event.


The Role

You will have significant responsibility for media sales and sponsorships and will already have strong experience across print, digital and events.

This masthead is supported by high quality and dedicated editorial staff and is the clear market leader. Your existing clients are committed long term customers, though your ability to develop new business will be pivotal.

You will be required to play an important part in managing your allocation of the current client base and sourcing new clients. Outstanding customer relationship skills and a high attention to detail are a must.

It is also expected that you will work closely with the National Advertising Manager and Editor.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in media sales with a preference towards the B2B channel.

Preference will be given to those with some experience in the hairdressing sector.


The Person

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic sales professional who has at least five years’ experience.

You must be a self-starter capable of executing your job with autonomy, and who is motivated by the opportunity to extend a successful career in the media industry.

In return for your efforts, you will be compensated with a very attractive base salary plus superannuation, and access to an uncapped commission incentive scheme.
