About the Role  

We are looking for an experienced Water Quality Scientist to join our team of scientists and engineers.   

We are based in Brisbane and have an office in Morningside. Prior to COVID-19 we worked semi-autonomously combining time in the office with working from home in accordance with our Working from Home Policy. Remote working options are available for this role.

The role will include:  

  • Processing of water quality data, undertaking statistical analysis and generating graphic representations.

  • Interpreting water quality data and providing advice.

  • Writing technical reports and procedures.

  • Undertaking water quality risk assessments. 

  • Providing training and expert advice to water utility operations staff. 

  • Undertaking marketing activities and maintaining a professional network of clients, peers and service providers. 

  

What we’re looking for  

  • Essential - Bachelor of science or similar

  • 3+ years experience in the water and/or wastewater industry. 

  • Highly developed understanding of data analysis and statistics.  

  • High level of proficiency with MS Office, in particular Excel. 

  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.

  • Highly desirable - familiar with the following software Minitab, QGIS or other GIS system
