Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is seeking a dynamic, caring, motivated and innovative Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse to join the Inpatient Unit on a CASUAL basis.
The Mental Health Unit, forming part of Mildura Base Public Hospital, offers a range of inpatient and community based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region. We promote and provide a work environment that embraces professional development and supports staff to maximize growth through internal and external education including Trauma Informed Care, Mental State Examination, Psychiatric Assessment and more. About the Role:
The Inpatient Unit consists of 14 beds and caters for a variety of clients that are requiring hospital admission for a variety of Mental Health disorders. The inpatient unit maintains a high standard of care through the completion of skill competencies, regular supervision and the provision and encouragement of ongoing professional development to provide a client, family and recovery inclusive approach to the care of clients.
As a Registered Nurse, you will have AHPRA registration and extensive clinical skills and experience within the medical field. You will be self-motivated and you must be prepared to work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster that will include days, lates, nights, weekends and public holidays. A Post Graduate Qualification in Mental Health would be desirable.

This position is classified under the Victorian Public Mental Health services Enterprise Agreement. This is a Grade 2 Position.
