de Groots wills and estate lawyers is a specialist law firm with offices located in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.  We work in the field of wills and estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation.  By focusing exclusively on this area of law, we have built a great breadth of expertise and a reputation for consistently achieving results for our clients.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our team on a full time permanent basis. 

About the role

This busy role will see you working with our teams to provide administrative support.  You will work on a variety of different tasks including:

  • Diary management / scheduling of appointments
  • Communication in person, by phone and email with clients and other external parties
  • Draft simple correspondence and amendments
  • Assist with end of month billing
  • Assisting the  legal teams with general administration
  • Assisting with client queries by phone and email

About you

  • One year's experience as an Administration Assistant - with legal experience an advantage but not a requirement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Proficient in WP Office suite.
