About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Officer/Amenities Cleaner for a casual role at our Clarkes Beach Holiday Park. This is a busy role, working in a high-volume park.

This role forms a critical part of our wider organisational mission to elevate the standard for holiday parks by delivering outstanding results and establishing lasting relationships.

The Housekeeping Officer/Amenities Cleaner will work a rotational roster across a 7-day per week operation, including weekend and public holiday work.

In this role, you will:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including liaising with guests face to face;
  • Undertake cleaning duties for amenities, BBQ areas and other outdoor facilities, including COVID cleaning processes;
  • Assisting with housekeeping duties where required, such as linen changes, interior and exterior cleaning of cabins and surrounding areas and the replenishment of stock;
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained by undertaking stocktake for cleaning chemicals and other items;
  • Follow Work Health and Safety procedures, identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks.

Requirements

This is a high-volume park, therefore, experience in housekeeping and/or commercial cleaning in either holiday parks or hotels is highly desirable.

The successful applicants will be subject to the following:

  • National Criminal History Check or will have to provide evidence of recent clearance;
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments;
  • Right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this;
  • Maintain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment as a condition of employment. For more information, visit the Office of the Children’s Guardian website.
