Accounts Assistant

  • Full Time, Permanent Position

4 Years experience as an Accounts Assistant in Legal or similar professional services? Great role outside the CBD - skip the traffic! 

Working alongside an experienced Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Reconciliations – bank statements and credit cards
  • Accounts to trial balance
  • General Ledger journal entries
  • Maintaining the asset register
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Keeping accurate records

The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in the above tasks (minimum 4 years).  Candidates without this experience will unfortunately not be considered.

You will need to have excellent data entry skills with solid attention to detail, together with an intermediate knowledge of Excel (testing will be required). 

Personally you will enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a wider team.  You will need a friendly, cheerful and 'can do' approach to tasks.. Exceptional communication skills are essential – both written and verbal.

Standard office hours are 08.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.  The team are social and have regular get-togethers out of the office.
