About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Guest Services Officer/Kiosk Worker for a casual role over our peak summer period to work at the beautiful Reflections Cudgegong River.

This role is a critical in helping us create amazing holiday memories for our guests and day visitors. By joining the team at Cudgegong as a peak casual, you will be given the opportunity to be part of a fun, close knit team during our busiest time of year.

The Guest Services Officer/Kiosk Worker will work a rotational roster across a 7-day per week operation, including weekend and public holiday work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a high standard of friendly and welcoming customer service. The areas of responsibility for this role includes:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including liaising with guests face to face and via telephone;
  • Guest check-in and management of the property PMS – Newbook;
  • Assist in opening and closing of our office and kiosk area and set up and running of children's activities;
  • Assist with kiosk duties, including serving customers, preparation of food
  • Undertake general office duties, banking and cleaning of office and kiosk;
  • Receiving and dispensing of monies via computerised point of sale register;
  • Assist with stock take and invoicing for the office, kiosk and cleaning equipment and chemicals;
  • Assist and direct visitors within the park;
  • Follow Work Health and Safety procedures, identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks.

Role Requirements

As this is a peak summer role, the successful candidates will be required to have full availability for the months of December and January (including weekends and public holidays).

The successful applicants will be subject to the following:

  • National Criminal History Check or will have to provide evidence of recent clearance; and
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments.

Applicants are also required to have the following:

  • Right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this;
