About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Officer for a casual role over our peak summer period to work at the beautiful Reflections Grabine Lakeside.

This role is a critical in helping us create amazing holiday memories for our guests and day visitors. By joining the team at Grabine as a peak casual, you will be given the opportunity to be part of a fun team during our busiest time of year.

The Housekeeping Officer will work a rotational roster across a 7-day per week operation, including weekend and public holiday work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a high standard of friendly and welcoming customer service. The areas of responsibility for this role includes:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including liaising with guests face to face and via telephone;
  • Undertaking housekeeping duties, such as linen changes, interior and exterior cleaning of cabins and surrounding areas and the replenishment of stock;
  • Assisting in cleaning duties for amenities, BBQ areas and other outdoor facilities;
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained by undertaking stocktake for the office and kiosk and compiling of records of cabin items;
  • Assist with kiosk duties, including food preparation and general customer service;
  • Follow Work Health and Safety procedures, identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks.

Role Requirements

As this is a peak summer role, the successful candidates will be required to have full availability for the months of December and January (including weekends and public holidays).

The successful applicants will be subject to the following:

  • National Criminal History Check or will have to provide evidence of recent clearance; and
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments.

Applicants are also required to have the following:

  • Right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this;
  • Maintain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment as a condition of employment. For more information, visit the Office of the Children’s Guardian website.
