About the opportunity:

We have an exciting growth strategy for the business, in which you will play a key role. We want to think big, deliver fast, and put the right people on the right projects. We are seeking an RFS Business Analyst, based at our head office in Macquarie Park. You will be an integral member of the Marketing and Innovation team, responsible for the execution of strategic and complex cross-functional projects across the RFS business.

This is a true opportunity to build and diversify your skillset as you lead key programs & projects as well as drive strategic analysis & thinking. We are looking for people with a growth mindset that look to understand the entire business to enable them to drive change and move the business forward. You will establish strong relationships with a range of stakeholders including the RFS leadership team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Engaging the Marketing & Channel Development Team to identify the biggest opportunities and develop them into critical projects
  • Assessing the attractiveness of identified growth opportunities via desktop research & utilising strategic thinking & analysis in collaboration with the team
  • Partnering with multiple teams to deliver cross-functional projects
  • Support in the development of project scope, objectives, right team, costs, milestones, and business transition plans
  • Developing and delivering project & stakeholder communications to ensure strategic risks and challenges are addressed, concise business updates and effective decision making
  • Ensuring that change activities are integrated in the project plan to ensure sustainable success
  • Facilitating cross functional issues impacting scope, budget, timeline or quality of the solution.
  • Ensuring change is managed appropriately, including any strategy, systems, process, and people impacts

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business, Engineering)
  • Strong Analytical skillset to quickly assess potential of a business opportunity
  • 3+ years proven ability to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget
  • experience in a corporate strategy team or strategy/ management consultancy
  • Ability to deliver multiple cross-functional and business-wide projects effectively
  • Strong understanding of process design with proven ability to influence and lead
  • Basic understanding of Project Management methodologies & great organisational skills
  • Good sense of agility and flexibility to adapt as projects evolve and change
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills across various functions and organisational levels
  • Preference for experience in the FMCG sector
