QC Technician

The Roles
We are looking for Quality Control Officers for a number of opportunities in the food industry - all for very reputable companies. Opportunities range from 6 weeks to several months. Applicants will need to be flexible to work day or afternoon shift on 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday. We are open to applicants of varying skills from fresh graduates to very experienced applicants. Some of the following duties could be expected in the roles:
• Conduct Internal Audits
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP and FSANZ regulations
• Documentation checks
• Sampling
• Understanding of quality control techniques and applications
• Enforcing hygiene, sanitation and GMP practices
• Performing quality tests, both physical and chemical testing
• Calibration of laboratory equipment
• Additional tasks as directed by the Quality Manager

Desirable applicants will possess
• BSc in Food Science and Technology or a related field
• Experience in quality control in the food industry
• Practical computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Working rights in Australia
