Wireline Services Group is one of Australia's leading geophysical wireline logging companies.  We provide specialist geophysical wireline logging and drillhole wireline services to some of the largest mining projects not just in Australia, but worldwide. 

About the Role 

The Wireline Operator is a remote site FIFO position where you would be responsible for recording data from a range of geophysical wireline tools and directional drillhole surveying equipment.  You would need to have a excellent computer skills as well as mechanical aptitude. 

This role will see you working in the heat and in often sandy and dusty environments across remote locations both on mine and exploration sites throughout Australia. 

We are looking for our next Wireline Operator to be someone who works well both in a team and autonomous environment. 

Skills and Experience 

Our Operators are self-motivated, enthusiastic, have a work ethic that is second to none and are able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude. 

Previous experience in mining, defence or the agricultural industries would be preferred.  We will provide you with a comprehensive and first-class training program at our Head Office in Perth prior to any field-based work.  You need to bring a positive attitude and be prepared to learn and work hard.

To be successful in this role, you will possess: 

  • FIFO experience (preferable)

  • A strong commitment to workplace safety 

  • Proficient computer skills 

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Energetic and can do attitude 

  • Unrestricted Manual Driver's Licence (preferable MR or above) 

  • A national Police clearance (or ability to gain) 

  • A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to gain) 

Candidates must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen if requested.
