About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Officer for a casual role at our Copeton Waters Holiday Park.

This role is a critical in helping us create amazing holiday memories for our guests.  

The Housekeeping Officer is responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards of presentation for the park to our valued guests and visitors through the following duties: 

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all park visitors and guests;
  • Assist and direct guests in the park;
  • Assist supervisor with stock take for cabin and cleaning equipment and chemicals;
  • Undertake housekeeping duties including linen, cleaning interior and exterior of cabins;
  • Assisting as required in the cleaning of guest amenities;
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained;
  • Follow work health and safety procedures; identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks.

Role Requirements

The successful candidate must have a manual driver licence as they will be required to operate a manual vehicle.

The successful applicants will be subject to the following:

  • National Criminal History Check or will have to provide evidence of recent clearance; and
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments.

Applicants are also required to have the following:

  • Right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this;
  • Maintain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment as a condition of employment. For more information, visit the Office of the Children’s Guardian website.
