Early Childhood Teacher

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our YMCA Jamison Early Learning Team on a full time or part time (6 hours per day) basis. As an Early Childhood Teacher you will be responsible to plan, organise and implement the Early Years Learning Framework via a dynamic educational program that builds on children’s knowledge and extend their learning opportunities.

 

About you:

  • Passionate and enthusiastic for the development of children’s formative years through play based learning
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent or 50% completion of a relevant Degree
  • Committed to ongoing research and discovery for children
  • First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificate or willing to obtain one
  • Experience working in an Early Learning Setting
  • Experience working with Children (particularly in the 3-5-year age group)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
