About us

 

It's an exciting time for Futsal in Australia. Force Futsal Academy has ambitious plans to grow the game from grassroots through to high-performance standards. Based on Gold Coast and Brisbane we are changing the way how Futsal is provided in Queensland, with the aim of making it more accessible, affordable, better, and more often. To help us achieve our plan we are looking for a Futsal Development Officer based in Toowoomba to join our team at Force Futsal Academy and contribute to the growth of futsal across the Darling Downs area.

 

Qualifications & experience

 

  • At least 3 years of experience working in the Futsal with young people
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in coaching Futsal at different levels and ages
  • Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised
  • Must have a Bachelors's Degree in Sports or equivalent depth of experience
  • Full Driver's License

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • Develop positive relationships with club and center stakeholders within the Darling Down including Toowoomba and surrounds
  • Engage schools, clubs, and councils to increase Futsal participation in the Darling Downs area
  • Recruitment and training of Coaches
  • Managing and motivating coaches to ensure they perform their roles reliably, efficiently, and in line with the club values
  • Promote, organize, and run Futsal Leagues in the Darling Downs area
  • Liaising with schools, clubs, academies to ensure suitable coaching sessions are planned and delivered
  • Admin duties including email and phone contact with staff and clients
  • Obtaining new clients and managing relationships with existing clients
  • Developing, planning, and documenting suitable sports session plans, game strategies, and programs and effectively communicating to coaches
  • Due to the nature of the sporting industry must be willing to work outside normal business hours from time to time such as evenings and weekends
