The Role

We're currently seeking an experienced Sales Representative to successfully carry out the company objectives within a specific territory ensuring all targets and budgets are achieved. The specified territory will cover Canberra with some regional travel to the Riverina area. 

The successful applicant will be active and be able to provide a safe, honest and fun environment to work in with the rest of the team!


Responsibilities

  • To achieve and/or exceed set sales budgets and actively participate in the representative's incentive program
  • To achieve the optimum coverage for your customers within your specified territory, whilst operating in a cost effective manner in keeping with the divisions normal standards.
  • Effective territory management and updated record keeping  through utilisation of CRM tool
  • Manage territory call cycles and minimum call rate standards to maintain and grow state based relationships.
  • Representatives must embody the companies' mission & vision, being able to voluntarily share with accounts/employees.
  • To maintain and grow existing customer relationships within your specified territory, protecting and growing the existing market leading positions for McPherson's brands whilst acting as a trusted advisor for McPherson's varied products and services.
  • Initiate in-store activities i.e. training, expo's and customer events


Requirements

  • Higher School Certificate
  • Valid Full Open Australian Drivers License
  • 3-5 years previous Pharmacy Assistants or Sales Representative experience
  • Independent grocery experience is preferred.
  • FMCG Experience
  • Solid presentation and territory based analytical skills
  • Field knowledge
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
