The role

The Title- Business Services Officer

This position sits within our Community Spaces Recreation and Trade department and is responsible for providing high quality administrative support across the Liveable Communities Division of Council. 

The person

This is an exciting opportunity for a true administrator who is passionate about providing high quality administrative and business support services to ensure customer needs are met.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Cert III or above qualifications in Business Administration/ Business;
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative role;
  • Advanced computer skills, certified touch typing speed of 50wpm;
  • Highly developed communication skills.

The package: Commencing circa $56,800 per annum plus superannuation. 

Location: Initially this position will be based from 2 Pulteney Street, Taree. In the future, your normal place of work will be the Council Offices at 2 Biripi Way Taree. When the time comes for you to move to Biripi Way, four weeks’ notice will be provided. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent Full Time
