Accounts Assistant

We are actively searching for an Accounts Assistant at Pitney Bowes who is:

You are:

A collaborative and energetic individual who enjoys working in accounting and financial administration to support the wider finance team. You will be client focused and as part of your role manage the end to end postage by phone account administration function. Your attention to detail is second to none and you enjoy working with a diverse team.

 

You will:

Report to the Finance Team Leader and work as part of the customer support team. You will be responsible for;

Accounts Receivable Activities:

  • Daily receipt allocations for all areas of Australian and New Zealand businesses
  • Daily NZ and Australia receivable accounts reconciliations
  • Process unapplied accounts adjustments and allocations
  • Process refund/manual direct debit requests
  • Handle general accounts administration enquires

Accounts Payable activities:

  • Assist with reviewing supplier invoices, with purchase orders raised for matching.
  • Assis with inputting and coding invoices to cost centres
  • Assist with payment run as required

Other Adhoc Support Activities

  • Other Tasks or projects as requested by Financial Director and Finance Team Leader or PB senior finance management (support where required)

 

Your background:

As an Accounts Assistant, you have:

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Experience in handling queries over the phone and via email
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Genuine interest/studying Finance or Accounting
  • Display drive, energy and enthusiasm and participate as a team player
  • Ability to prioritise business support activities and multi task without compromising on quality
