About the Role

Rocky Bay is a leading provider of disability services, offering choice and independence to thousands of children and adults living with disability in Western Australia.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Student Placement Officer to join our HR and training division to provide high level engagement with education providers and coordinate student placement programs within Rocky Bay. You will be a part of a dedicated team responsible for all student placement functions including administering clinical and work placements, liaising and maintaining relationships with relevant external stakeholders and industry practitioners.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to support student placement across the organisation
  • Coordinating all administrative functions relating to the delivery of all aspects of the student placement program, including acting as the point of contact for students, departments and educational institutions
  • Fostering constructive and effective working relationships across the organisation and with external partner agencies
  • Assist in the creation, management, and development of all documentation and databases related to student placements and graduate program

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Previous experience managing work placement programs and/or workplace management of students/trainees
  • People oriented – approachable, courteous and committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Committed to consistently producing high quality work with high attention to detail
  • Ability to develop collaborative business relationships
  • Highly developed ability to use Microsoft Office products including Excel
  • Current WA drivers’ licence
  • National Police Clearance (not older than 3 months)
  • Current Influenza Vaccination
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment will be highly regarded
