Student Services Officer (Casual)

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
AMA Training Services is the training arm of the Australian Medical Association (WA). Operating as an RTO for over 20 years, the team delivers training over a vast range of qualifications and caters to new industry entrants right through to experienced health professionals. Training is provided throughout Australia, with a focus on Western Australia. AMA Training Services operates out of a number of metropolitan and regional training centres and also operates a sophisticated virtual classroom environment to supplement training delivery.

AMA Training Services has built a reputation as a premium provider of training in the aged care, disability care, HACC, health services and health administration areas.

The role…
As a Student Support Officer, you will provide administration support to both staff and clients across a number of large Training Programs. The role is offered on a casual basis, 38 hours per week. 
  
Day to day duties will include…
  • Maintaining program oversight
  • Tracking student progress in regards to assessments submitted and marking completed
  • Following up students who miss classes to assist them to re-engage
  • Managing day-to-day student enquiries
  • Maintaining training timetables and program planners
  • Assisting in the preparation of training resources for classes
  • Preparing monthly client reports
  • Preparing financial information for invoicing
    
What you will bring...
  • Previous administration experience in a fast paced, customer focused environment
  • A high level of computer literacy and data entry experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional phone manner
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working at a fast pace
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills – you can manage your time effectively
  • You’re a team player and can contribute positively to team operations and working
  • Versatility and adaptability
  • Able to communicate in a constructive and professional manner
  • Previous experience working in a Registered Training Program environment will be highly regarded
