Infection Prevention and Control Coach
On site roles available in COVID frontline facilities providing coaching, practical training, help with interpreting the IPC protocols and Q&A to staff on each shift. You will gain first-hand experience of a pandemic response.

Supporting our partnership with the Australian Government Department of Health, Healthcare Australia has an urgent requirement for Infection Prevention and Control Registered Nurses to support our COVID-19 quarantine hotels/facilities during the current health crisis in Sydney.

As such, we are keen to hear from any experienced Registered Nurses that can join the fight against COVID-19.


Overview of Roles:
  • IPC audits, coaching, auditing, education, demonstrations in COVID-19 positive facilities; based on our learnings and observations over the last 6 months
  • Deployment into Aged Care facilities and Hotels  to implement and manage IPC for the duration of an outbreak
  • Briefing and Q&A opportunity for interested interstate IPC candidates                                                                       
Provide Education and Support:
  • Educate individuals in correct PPE donning and doffing, provide demonstrations and practical tips.
  • Create an orientation handover for the site Team Leader to carry out with the Team at handover each day in relation to PPE, entrances and exits, and site-specific protocols.
