HR Advisor

HR Advisor, 2 x Temporary opportunities up to 8 months, Flexible with location

We are in search for driven HR professionals to join the people and culture team at the Department of Customer Service.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor is responsible for providing consistent operational HR consulting and advice on a range of human resource management services to support a high performing, accountable workforce to deliver on strategic plans.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner with strong case management experience, an ability to multi-task and manage customer expectations.

The team are working on exciting people projects including, organisational and role design, digital reform, as well as contributing to the organisational and cultural transformation of the newly formed Department.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in a HR Advisory/consulting role
  • Demonstrated IR/ER case management experience
  • Proven ability in talent management experience including case management
  • Strong decision-making and prioritisation along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in role design, preferably Mercer qualified but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully establish and build on relationships with senior leaders, coaching them to manage the performance of their staff and to maximise their own leadership potential
  • Delivered client focused services, to build staff engagement and support the development of high performing and efficient teams
  • Strong ethics and values that align to our customer service culture
