Western Force is a professional rugby team based out of Western Australia which this year competed in the domestic Super Rugby AU competition. The club is supported by a passionate local community of over 4,000 members.
About the role
This role is responsible for ideating, filming, and editing a wide range of video/image content for Western Force. You will shoot and edit content for several channels, especially social media. The role spans interviewing, capturing game/training content, storytelling and technical editing; therefore, we are seeking a highly adaptable, efficient and experienced individual for this role. With a huge range of creative opportunities, this role is perfect for someone proactive and driven to create excellent work.
You will be a highly creative, hands-on, and energetic team-player who is proficient with video editing software. Experience with photography is desirable, but not a must.
- Essential: Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effects / Adobe Photoshop
- Desirable: Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Lightroom
- Essential: DSLR Filming Experience (Panasonic GH5 & GoPro) / Lavalier Microphone recording
- Desirable: still photography experience
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience shooting and editing film content and have a formal education in either TV, Production, Film, Fine Arts or similar (Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate) or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in professional sports. Previous work experience working within the sports industry will be highly regarded.
