The Position:     

M3 Logistics is currently seeking a dynamic IT Manager to join the M3 team. This role can operate from our National Head Office, Blacktown Sydney or in our Brisbane or Melbourne depots.

The primary function of this role will be responsible for the effective operating of our computer systems and telecommunication functions.  The role will provide M3 with its technology strategy, operational roadmap and manage the IT infrastructure, hardware and system changes within budget allocation and timelines.

You will support IT project initiatives and implementations and proactively propose technology initiatives that will support and sustain our national business operations.  You will be responsible for ensuring cyber security and data loss prevention strategies are up to date, including development and deliver staff training. 

We are seeking someone who is comfortable switching between strategic, operational and project activities.  You will have strong IT operations and support background and experience working in a small to medium enterprise, ideally within a logistics or warehousing industry.

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Deliver and maintain core IT systems and infrastructure, such as Window server 2012, ICS Warehousing/transport management, ICS Financial   
  • Support and supplementary systems such as Radaro and Freshdesk
  • Lead and develop a small team
  • Partner with PMO and provide technical expertise to ensure business sustainability and to support IT project initiatives.
  • Act as SME to support three major technology projects, including transitioning all users to Microsoft 365 
  • Develop and maintain telecommunications and availability of hardware to support national operations
  • Ensure appropriate cyber security and data loss prevention strategies are in place and remain current with compliance and standards

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Develop the IT strategy roadmap and operational plan
  • Partner with PMO and act as SME for technology and business projects
  • Partner with the business to fully understand their IT business needs
  • Develop and socialise the organisations Information security roadmap to maximise awareness and compliance
