Junior Structural Revit Draftsperson

You will be exposed to some high profile projects. This is a role that will provide you with extensive design experience and is a genuine career development opportunity.

This role reports to the Senior Structural Designers and the role will include:

  • Preparation of  detailed drawings for structural projects using Revit and Auto CAD
  • Utilisation of Revit skills
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Be comfortable in working autonomously as part of a small, dynamic and very busy team

Job details

This role reports to the Senior Structural Designers and the role will include:

  • Prepare detailed drawings for Structural Engineering using AutoCAD and Revit drafting software

Essential requirements

You will possess:

  • A motivated attitude and the willingness to learn.
  • Some experience in drafting packages including Revit MEP and AutoCAD;
  • A demonstrable understanding of the documentation and detailing of the following elements:
    • Structural steel;
    • Precast concrete;
    • Reinforced concrete;
    • Post tensioned slabs; and
    • Some experience in structural detailing and drafting.

Desirable requirements

  • 2 – 3 years experience is preferred but not essential.

 Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil Construction Design or equivalent desirable
