About the role

This role working closely with the reliability and operations teams, will be responsible for all site instrument calibration of processing equipment at intervals as per manufacturers guidelines and the site reliability services program.

This role will also provide support to the sites preventative reliability programs and minor capital projects with instrument selection.  Equipment servicing requirements will include all dairy processing equipment as well as site utilities equipment and processes.

Due to the nature of the role and the specialised skills gained through this role you will offer support and training to the site reliability and operations team.

About you

  • Electrical and Instrumentation trade qualified. 
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a reliability team or service provider as an electrical and instrument technician.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a calibration system requirement for an advanced food manufacturing plant. 
  • Use of MEX, stock control and inventory management.
  • Team player with a can do attitude
  • Attention to detail, ensures that the equipment is in a fit for purpose post the service
  • Ability to provide on call assistance to support the reliability and operations teams.

Due to the nature of this role/team hours of work will vary depending on the equipment service timeframes. Therefore, there is an amount of flexibility required for the role.
