What the role is about

This role is a full-time permanent Sales Position. We are looking for a motivated, energetic and commercially astute ICT BDM to join our high performing Melbourne sales team & assist BCI in expanding market share across Australia.

You will proactively target a range of companies servicing the Building, Construction and Mining sectors by cold calling relevant companies to create an opportunity to meet face to face with senior sales management. You will then use your consultative sales skills to understand the clients' existing business development strategies & internal sales processes in order to offer the appropriate BCI solution.

Duties include:

  • Prospecting and developing new business for ICT products and services by means of cold calling and client visits
  • Identifying Industry prospects, qualifying them through consultation and providing tailored quotations
  • Maintaining customer relationships by liaising with Account Management and Customer Service Managers
  • Maintaining Industry knowledge through internal trainings, market analysis and the attendance of building and construction events
  • Utilising the companies CRM system, to track and record customer interactions and notes, as well as frequent communication of sales productivity to management via meetings and reports.
  • Utilizing BCI Account Managers & Customer Service Managers to maintain accounts and provide timely and quality follow ups
  • Uphold BCI’s company philosophies and corporate mission

  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • To be honest & genuine in your dealings with clients
