Business Development Manager - Facade & Cladding

  • Newly created role for an experienced Business Development Manager in Façade & Cladding
  • Sell a product that is NATA accredited and meets the AS1530.1 AND AS1530.3 standards
  • Drive, develop and grow specifications with leading architects, engineers, asset owners, Strata, top tier builders, contractors
  • Promote an innovative, cutting-edge and design-lead brand new product offering with over 1.3M of stock holding with 7-DAY lead times
  • Have the freedom and flexibility to work autonomously!

This well-established, Australian owned business is a fast paced, forward thinking aluminium building product business. They have developed and imprinted its strong brand on a national. Known for its high quality, premium, cutting-edge designs and, its ability to deliver products on time consistently, this business is a well-respected and trustworthy company which has secured specifications for some of Australians most iconic projects in the commercial and residential market.

They are now launching a brand-new product range and will be emerging into the non-combustible aluminium, facades and cladding segment and require a Business Development Manager to drive, grow and develop sales. This product meets the AS1530.1 AND AS 1530.3 standards and are NATA accredited

ROLE

As the Business Development Manager, reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be the key driver in launching a brand-new product line to market. You will be promoting this business's footprint and brand across QLD, ensuring this new product line is at the forefront of their client's minds. You will be responsible for nurturing projects through from concept to reality ensuring that you build a solid project pipeline for residential and commercial projects.

DUTIES

  • Establish a sales & marketing plan to introduce and launch a brand-new non-combustible cladding & façade product line into the Australian market
  • Strategically collaborate with the existing sales team and area managers to leverage on sales opportunities
  • Help, support and guide the existing sales team on how to promote and sell a new cladding range
  • To gain specification projects with: Architects, Designers, Engineers & Specifiers Commercial & Residential projects
  • Network effectively with; Architects, Designers, Engineers, Asset Owners, Stara, Contractors & Builders to ensure you forge strong relationships
  • Plan, prepare and conduct CPD presentations to Architect & Designers and provide and update samples books within Architect practices
  • Build, develop and grow a strong project pipeline of specifications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • MUST have Previous experience in a Business Development role within facades, cladding & curtain walling
  • Extensive experience working with; A&D (Architects & Designers) Builders and Contractors
  • A genuine passion for design, architecture building & construction
  • Have a natural ability to open doors, grab every opportunity and make things happen!
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and a forever changing & evolving workplace
  • Must be a self-starter, strategic, organised and methodical
