Junior Receptionist Front Office Assistant (Law Firm)

One of The Sutherland Shires most high-profile legal firms are now seeking a well presented, highly self-motivated Front Desk Assistant to join and complement an existing team. Here you will be providing ’front and back of house’ administration and client support.

The firm offers a wide range of legal services including Business and Property, Employment, Family, and Estates Law.

No two days are the same, but the high standard of service offered to clients, colleagues and legal professionals require an adaptable, multi-skilled administration team to ensure all front office duties are optimally covered and performed.

What would you be doing?

  • Mailroom duties - scanning, collection, and distribution
  • Data entry
  • Accounts – assisting Accounts team
  • Updating the intranet
  • Client file management
  • Relief reception duties e.g. answering telephones, taking messages, transferring calls, greeting clients
  • Assisting with catering and meeting room set up
  • Lodging court documents – occasionally attending settlements local and in the city
  • Photocopying, scanning, and filing;
  • Facilities coordination
  • Other general administration duties as required – driving to complete errands e.g. banking, mail, assist with settlements, shopping, etc;

What type of experience or skills do I need?

A proactive ‘yes I can’ helpful attitude where outstanding customer service is always a priority.

A beaming smile and happy disposition.

The ability to take direction and work well within a small team.

Great communication skills.

Corporate presentation.

Good all-rounder IT skills – MS Office – with pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Time management – proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.

Reporting to one of the Managing Partners, you will be complimenting and enhancing an existing administration support team. The hours of work are between 8.30 – 4.30 pm.
