Spizick Architects is a fast-growing Hobart architectural practice.

We are currently seeking a graduate of architecture with AutoCAD and or Revit skills. We are looking for someone that will share our vision of designing buildings and spaces that inspire, serve their practical purposes, are functionally precise, economical, and most important of all are designed for satisfied clients to live and work.

We are seeking a passionate and friendly person who can work with minimal supervision and be a supportive team player.

Within our studio, we offer an opportunity to progress your career as you work on projects across different sectors. We encourage our team to develop their skills as they work hands-on in all facets and stages of the projects.


  • Graduate of Architecture.
  • Previous work experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT (minimum of 2 years of practical experience)
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Revit.
  • Ability to think and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication through emails, reports and ability to take direction from the Director.




  • A current driver’s license preferable.
  • Have experience in preparing and lodging DA and BA with Tasmanian councils.
  • Sound knowledge of the BCA (commercial and residential) and the Tasmanian interim planning scheme.
