MACA continues to grow its portfolio of projects with the recent award of the Capricorn Metals Karlawinda open pit Gold mining services based in the Pilbara. Located 60 km south east of Newman, with a life of mine expected between 5 - 6 years with potential for future expansion this is an opportunity to secure a long-term role and grow with our business.

We are seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitters to join this newly created team and commence works on this greenfield project in October 2020. Offering a 2/1 roster this is an opportunity to work in a dynamic business that puts “People First”. To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Solid experience in an open pit production environment
  • Significant experience in repair and maintenance of Liebherr, Cat and Komatsu plant
  • Trade qualifications
  • Current Driver licence
  • Safe Work at Heights
  • Dogging/Rigging
  • Strong motivations to join a long-term project
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A “Can Do” attitude to Working Safely
  • Ability to align to MACA company values
