Administration Officer - State Government

Are you a passionate and dynamic individual who is immediately available and has professional Administration experience within State Government Departments? If you like to consider yourself as an all rounder and can take initiative and work in a team environment then we would love to hear from you.

Our client is a well known State Government client and is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join their team for a minimum 6 months.

The successful candidate must be a 'go getter', be self motivated and have the drive to achieve business strategy. You must have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and enjoy working under pressure. If you are comfortable with ambiguity, are innovative and love a fast paced work environment than this is the right opportunity for you!

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Supportng teams in administration tasks
  • Flexibility to work in different role types (HR, procurement, finance)
  • Taking minutes
  • Assisting with projects
  • Monday - Friday, with potential to work weekends (overtime rates $$)

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Be available immediately
  • Have previous experience working in State Government Departments
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
  • Focus on delivery and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Present with a high attention to detail
  • A great attitude with a professional demeanor
