About the Role
In this role, you will supervise the day to day operation of the one of our Leisure Centres including plant equipment and staff.

Key responsibilities:

  • Staff the reception desk in a supporting role during peak periods.
  • Ensure end of shift and daily balancing of the register is carried out
  • Resolve day to day problems of staff and customers where possible to their satisfaction and answer phone enquiries regarding the Centre
  • Take a proactive role in ensuring Centre communication channels are operating efficiently.
  • Where necessary or directed by Management, roster casual staff and replace staff absences to meet customer and program demand.
  • Monitor and guide staff in the maintenance of Swim Sport & Leisure customer service standards
  • Assist with internal promotions and events, particularly as they relate to memberships, programs and activities.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in running the day to day operations of a Leisure Centre
  • Minimum Level 2 First Aid and Pool Lifeguard qualifications.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven supervisory and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Current employee Working with Children.
  • Current Police check (must be less than 6 months from date of issue).

This role will be guided by Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA) Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations, City of Greater Geelong and Swim Sport and Leisure policy and procedures.
