Junior Project Engineer | Manufacturing

As the Junior Project Engineer on the site you will have exposure to various elements of the assigned projects acting as a key point of contact for support. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skill sets, working closely with the Project Manager and other internal stakeholders, carrying out varied engineering assignments.

Description

  • The primary purpose of the role is to provide engineering support on the assigned projects and assist with the preparation of tenders.
  • Using standard procedures, modifications and other methods identified, you will solve problems relating to a specific area of the project.
  • Expected to coordinate and manage the technical aspects of each project.
  • You will be required to develop accurate cost estimates for customers.
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained between all relevant project stakeholders.
  • Create accurate technical drawings and BOM (Design aspects) and prepare all technical documentation that is required (Design studies, reports, calculations).
  • Manage project schedules & delivery and review engineering deliverables.

Profile

To be successful for this role you will require the following:

  • 2-4 years' experience in an engineering or manufacturing function.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must have experience in 3D CAD Modelling
