Systems Administrator

Level 3 support for a managed service company with a broad client base.

MSP with legal, accounting and finance clients seeking a Systems Admin for level 2/3 support to MS tech.

Your new company
This Managed Service Provider has been operating for 30 years, and specialise in IT support, cloud computing, cyber security and business growth. They are headquartered in Newcastle, with a national client presence in the legal, financial and accounting sector. They have just won new business in ACT, and are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the local clients.

Your new role
You will be responsible for providing level 2 and 3 support to the new and existing clients

Your primary role will be to provide level 3 support for:

  • Windows server and virtualisation technologies
  • Email solutions including Exchange, Office 365
  • Cloud and business applications
  • Backup and storage


Your level 2 duties will include acting as an escalation point to the IT service desk, and providing user and desktop support functions during scheduled on-site visits in ACT and limited travel to Bega, Wadonga and Albury.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, it is recommended that you have experience working for a similar sized MSP, with experience in the following areas:

  • 5 years of IT support and Systems administration experience
  • Experience with MS operating environments and applications, networks and end user devices
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Ability to deliver high quality services, working directly with the client
  • Excellent communication skills

Due to the travel required, it is essential to have a current drivers licence.
