Working as the CEO for Langford Support Services a leading Hobart based Disability Provider.

Your new company
Hays are proud to be partnering with Langford Support Services in their search for a commercially minded CEO. Based in Moonah, Langford was established in 1976 and is a not for profit organisation that focuses on providing a range of quality and flexible support service, supported accommodation, respite and activities for people living with a disability. Employing over 150 staff, Langford's mission is to provide quality services so that people can live a full and happy life within their community.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Chairman of the board, you'll be employed on a 5-year fixed term contract. You will be empowered to lead the organisation, ensuring the strategic objectives are met in accordance with the Mission and Values of Langford. You'll be joining a high-quality Executive team and be responsible for facilitating the decision making of the board through provision of advice, developing and recommending policy and strategic objectives. You'll be integral in establishing Langford as an industry leader in Tasmania and working with the Executive to ensure that Langford is providing the best support available to it's over 200 participants.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal applicant will be passionate about people and looking to give back to the community. As a proven Executive, you'll possess a growth mindset, formal qualification in a relevant discipline and come with strong commercial acumen. You'll have experience working in partnership with a board and have a comprehensive knowledge of strategy and managing a growing human service organisation. You'll possess great stakeholder skills, be a visionary and authentic leader that really wants to give back to the Disability sector. Proven exposure to the Disability sector is desired but not essential.

You'll also be required to undertake a working with vulnerable people check, hold a current driver's licence, and partake in a pre-employment medical prior to commencement.
