Registered Nurse (Day Surgery/Pre Admission)

 

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Unit at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital. Multiple Casual positions available.

 

The Opportunity

In this role you will be joining our modern Day Surgery unit supporting patients undergoing minor procedures and joining a service that provides a crucial surgical service to the Albury-Wodonga community.  As a member of our clinical team you will be directly reviewing, planning and providing care alongside our passionate team. This role reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager and works across a rotating roster.

About you

You will bring proven clinical experience in a hospital setting as a trained nurse. This role will suit an individual with a passion for client care and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to our patients. You will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with a wide range of clinical stakeholders including doctors, nurses and clinical support staff.

 Essential Selection Criteria

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience within an acute care hospital environment is essential.
  • Any specialty experience within a Day Surgery will be well-regarded, though not essential.
  • Postgraduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded though not essential.

 

Remuneration:

$32 -$45 per hour plus casual loading based on qualifications and years of experience.
