HR Assistant

Working closely with and reporting into the Director of Talent, this role will see you assist in all aspects of the Human Resources function at Urban Land Housing.

With a strong focus on Recruitment and HR Administration, your primary function will include, but is not limited to;

  • End-to-end recruitment and providing support to the hiring managers
  • Coordination of all onboarding requirements
  • Maintain employee files
  • Generalist HR admin tasks
  • Coordinate routine performance and probation reviews
  • Assist in the roll out of company wide HR initiatives, including HRIS upgrades
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll reports
  • Manage the WHS requirements across all offices

Selection Criteria
To be successful in this position, you need to be able to demonstrate;

  • 1-2 years recruitment experience (in either agency or in-house)
  • 1-2 years experience in a HR administration position
  • Have a Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or be working towards your certification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have a passion for people and workplace culture

This role may require you to drive to other offices, so a drivers licence and a reliable car is essential.
