About the branch

The Infrastructure and Information Technology Division provides core support in information technology and physical resources such as accommodation and fleet. The division provides the strategies, business processes and systems to efficiently and effectively deliver these core support services to enable Parks Victoria to be financially sustainable, safe and technologically enabled.

The IT Services (ITS) Division is responsible for providing Information Technology services and solutions to Parks Victoria at approximately 120 sites over Victoria and 1200 users. The branch is led by Parks Victoria's Chief Information Officer and comprises four functions - Engage, Plan, Build and Run. The Senior Business Analyst is part of the Run function of the Parks Victoria Information Technology organisation.

About the role and your responsibilities:  

As the IT Support Analyst, you will be the key point of contact for high-quality customer service, communication and support for queries, incidents and service requests across a range of IT and business services provided by the division. This will help to ensure Parks Victoria's end user experiences are fit for purpose, responsive, reliable, and secure.

In this role you will respond to technology support calls, resolve incidents, problems, and requests in line with agreed Service Level Agreements. You will actively support delivery of IT strategies and roadmaps, innovation and improvements as well as be responsible for distribution of technology toolkits (i.e. mobile phones, PC's, peripheral devices etc.) You will champion and uphold the Parks Victoria values and liaise with vendors and suppliers in the provision of services ensuring positive engagement with Service Desk customers. You will capture and respond to all service enquiries by taking ownership and management of all incidents and problems through to resolution, and requests through to fulfilment.

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • Tertiary IT or related qualification would be desirable.
  • Experience in a similar position undertaking IT Service Delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, customer focus, and IT&C as a service attitude
  • A current employee Working with Children Check
