IT Support Administrator - McMahons Point

National Dental Care (NDC) is an Australian dental group focusing on high quality patient care and clearly defined training and development programs for dentists and support staff. We focus on providing a consistent and high level of patient service through the utilisation of our centralised management systems optimizing patient flow and clinical outcomes from our Sydney based support office.

About the role:

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated professional to join the current IT support team.  The role will report directly into the Head of IT and based in McMahons Point, Sydney.  The role will require some travel across Australia. 

It is essential that you possess the ability to work under guidance, analyse, rectify, maintain and support the current IT systems and users as well as performing other related supported duties.  The following duties will include but not limited to:

  • Provide technical support (ticketing system) and guidance to local and remote users (L1-L3)
  • Server administration – Windows Server 2012, Exchange 2013
  • General network monitoring
  • Hardware maintenance, device management
  • Ensure server stability and uptime by monitoring critical systems
  • Rollout critical updates to servers against new viruses and exploits
  • Preventative maintenance on server logs monitoring any possible issues that may arise
  • Review and automate day to day tasks therefore improving overall staff efficiency
  • Review and create documentation for any updates, ensuring all information is current
  • Participate in practice due diligence, integration and data migration
  • Remote assistance to end users

Successful Applicant will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience incorporating Helpdesk/Support
  • Tertiary qualification or Microsoft Certification
  • Demonstrated software and hardware support
  • Proven reporting and documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills and customer service
  • Desirable, having worked within the dental / health industry
