We are on the hunt for Semi-Professional Technology Manipulator (Junior IT Support) to support the IT boss in maintaining all aspects of Ocean’s computer and cloud infrastructure.
The successful candidate will provide tier 1 and 2 general support to the team and wider group – with a smile, assist in managing the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software – with focus, perform troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems – without cursing, onboard new staff to familiarise them with Ocean’s IT policies and procedures – with encouragement, and provide IT training to staff – with confidence.
The role will also monitor the use and security of Office365 suite e.g. Email/Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, maintain backups and perform data recovery if necessary – all while learning something new every day.
Seriously though, maintaining networks, windows servers, security programs and systems are an important part of the role, so experience with these would be beneficial.
