The Role 

Epworth Eastern seeks permanent part time Ward Clerks to join our friendly and committed perioperative services team.

In this role you will be responsible for ward/unit administrative duties and supporting the nursing staff with the efficient and smooth management of the area.

Skills & Experience

It is desirable for you to have had previous experience in a similar role within health care, as well as the following:

  • Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A strong administrative background (with knowledge of medical terminology)
  • Experience with Patient Information Systems (desirable)

From consultation and detection through to surgery, Epworth Eastern aims to work with patients and their families to ensure they have the best experience possible.

In 2018, the commencement of Epworth Eastern’s expansion and redevelopment project will grow the hospital and introduce a brand new emergency department to the region.
