About the Opportunity

Are you looking for a change of lifestyle? If so, we can offer you the unique opportunity to take on a permanent, full-time role, as the Assistant Park Manager at our Lake Keepit Holiday Park.

This role offers you the opportunity to apply a ‘hands-on’ approach by supporting the Park Manager and the park staff to ensure the park is operated in accordance with our organisational policies and overall strategic direction. 

The Assistant Park Manager is responsible for supporting the Park Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the park by working collaboratively with the broader Reflections team to optimise outcomes for the overall organisation, in the spirit of our organisational values and mission.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead by example, engendering a strong customer service-based culture
  • Supervise direct reports and oversee daily work where required, including developing and managing daily tasks schedule
  • Implement efficient management practices in staffing, financial control, equipment maintenance, environment, staff training and development
  • Support customer service delivery, implementation of WHS practices, and security, in line with organisational policies and procedures and best practice principles
  • Manage the day to day financial transactions including reconciliation and banking of monies
  • Attract, retain, train and roster staff to ensure a positive culture
  • Have a proactive, not reactive, approach, and utilise your skills and experience to identify and effectively manage issues.
  • Respond to after-hours incidents and escalate matters accordingly

To fulfil the requirements of the role, you will be required to live on-site and conduct security checks and patrols of the park as part of your on-call requirements. 

Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have to have the following requirements:

  • Current Provide First Aid certificate
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership position of an equivalent business
  • Experience in the tourism and hospitality industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Current Driver Licence
  • Experience in Newbook booking system (desirable)
  • Experience in TANDA workforce management software (desirable)

As part of the recruitment process, applicants will be subject to a National Criminal History Check and a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (including Functional Capacity Evaluation and drug and alcohol screen) or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this.
