Chesterfield Australia is predominantly a John Deere Agricultural machinery dealership with 13 rural, regional & coastal branches located throughout SE QLD and Northern and Central NSW with over 230 team members.

About the Position:

Sales Representative with heavy machinery sales experience required for our branch in Dalby.

Yes, we have Sales KPI’s but at Chesterfield it is about building solid & dependable relationships with our customer. We want to ensure we provide them with the machinery they need (or just simply want!) for their chosen operation.

Our Dalby clients are looking for their new representative for:

  • Cotton Equipment
  • Harvesting equipment
  • Large Ag Tractors
  • Planting Equipment

You will:

  • Actively pursue new business opportunities whilst maintaining the current customer base.
  • Maintain focus on company profit margins.
  • Develop knowledge of financing options to assist customers
  • Attend applicable sales training events/seminars
  • Develop and keep informed on competitor activity within the region.

Requirements: 

  • Previous sales experience, ideally in the machinery industry
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Suite, CRM & sales software systems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to seek sales opportunities
  • Professional presentation

Practical experience of any of the above equipment is highly beneficial for this role.
