The Role

With industry-leading programs aimed at minimising fleet operational costs, instilling safety cultures, and heightening driver professionalism, Wodonga TAFE has the capability to deliver transport training needs.

Due to expanding operations we are seeking Casual Assistant Driving Instructors to work with our client, the Australian Defence Force in the Road Transport Wing (RTW) based at Puckapunyal Barracks (located near Seymour) and Defence Force School of Signals (DFSS) based at Simpson Barracks (located near Watsonia).

If you are seeking to enter into this industry, are experienced in the Defence force, or have a background in the delivery of driver training, Wodonga TAFE would value your experience and training.  You will be familiarised and trained in the current Defence vehicle variants to enable you to meet the requirements of the role.

Essential requirements:

  • Australian Citizen
  • Full Australian Drivers Licence

Desirable:

  • Medium rigid licence
  • Minimum 6 months experience in the delivery of heavy vehicle driver training combined with a genuine enthusiasm for training.
  • Certificate III in Transport and Logistics combined with transport industry experience.
