You are:

 

A passionate sales professional who can influence and collaborate with a variety of teams. You are a forward thinker who acts with purposefulness and speed and is committed to championing new ideas and creativity to build a winning business.   

You are performance focused and will execute solution sales across the Pitney Bowes product and services range to deliver budgeted revenue targets and enhance the clients experience with your relationship management skills.

 

You will:

  • Grow the Visitor Management Solution revenues in the Education vertical in Australia by actively prospecting and targeting new schools.
  • Work with Marketing to develop campaigns and content to assist with securing new customers to PB in the Education vertical
  • Be a lead presenter for Webinars and customer demonstrations of the solution; have a deep knowledge of the technical solution and be able to showcase the features and benefits
  • Work with ANZ Product Management to provide insights into customer requirements that will influence the roadmap
  • Develop knowledge of key competitor offerings to establish strong market insights
  • Prepare professional sales proposals and tender responses for Visitor Management Solutions
  • Manage the existing portfolio as well as prospecting of new key accounts and decision makers
  • Manage the Sales lifecycle from end to end including building your sales pipeline through lead generation, appointment setting, networking and hard work to consistently meet your monthly and quarterly targets
  • Be prepared to cold call to self-generate opportunities using Case Studies and using market insights to identify new market opportunities
  • Be prepared to “check in” with new accounts to ensure high satisfaction post sales and turn new customers into reference sites
  • Optimise marketing campaigns and sales leads to deliver revenue and margin targets
  • Partner with colleagues to achieve overall business strategic and tactical objectives

 

Your Background:

 

As a Business Development Manager, you have:

  • Proven experience in solution, equipment and hardware sales across IT – specifically with visitor management or similar technologies
  • You are an early adopter of technology and have a passion for solving customer problems
  • Strong ability to nurture and progress leads to sales opportunities
  • Ability to sell a brand-new product or solution to a customer by presenting strong value proposition
  • Experience selling to multiple levels across organisations
  • Strong experience and knowledge of sales methodologies and systems
  • Excellent communication and phone sales techniques
  • Outstanding relationship building and networking skills
  • Ability to build relationships and realise opportunities in various markets
