About the role
This is a unique opportunity for the right person looking to progress their career and have an impact on the future direction of the organisation.
We are looking for a hands-on strategy analyst to work with the Head of Strategy and other key stakeholders to develop and execute strategy. Work will be varied and will offer a unique opportunity to develop skills in identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities, finance and project management.
Some of the key requirements of this position include:
- market research, insights analysis and evaluation of strategic opportunities, and subsequent financial business case development;
- preparing reports and presentations that clearly articulate opportunities and actionable steps and timelines;
- maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships (with government focus);
- application of project management skills in scoping, designing, and planning approved projects;
- management of strategic projects until handover to BAU, including tracking against timelines and budget.
Ideally you will have some experience in strategy formulation and project delivery and some knowledge and understanding of insurance and/or financial services, or the healthcare sector would be beneficial.
You will have demonstrated experience in developing feasibility studies and business cases, along with the presence to deliver clear and compelling presentations.
More importantly you will be highly motivated and outcome focused. You will know what is needed to take an idea and make it a reality. We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual who works with a sense of urgency and agility to bring new ideas and fresh thinking to the team.
You will be a strong team player who has excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
