The Role   

As an Account Director at Ezypay, you will be critical to ensuring Ezypay maintains its long term and mutually beneficial relationship with key customers. 

You will be responsible for managing a number of our key customer accounts, ensuring their continued satisfaction with our subscription billing services. You will develop proactive engagement plans and meet on a regular basis with our customers to ensure we can proactively meet and exceed their expectations. You will act as a point of contact and escalation, coordinating across a number of our departments, including Customer Service, Merchant Operations, Product & Engineering. 

You’ll be providing direction to our newly formed Inside Sales team, ensuring that they are equipped with the strategy and direction to ensure successful execution. 

Although we have been operating for a number of years, we have recently redefined our sales team and this new role will be working alongside a number of new team members. As a senior part of this new sales organisation, there are plenty of opportunities to drive change within our organisation and help guide Ezypay through its next phase of growth. 

Are you able to…… 

  • Protect existing revenue and drive growth opportunities in line with company targets and defined account segments 

  • Develop a proactive engagement plan for each account, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are aligned 

  • Negotiate commercial arrangements and reviews with customers, with involvement from other internal functions, demonstrating commercial and financial acumen  

  • Take ownership for and work with Inside Sales to provide the framework for account engagement and ensure that key documents, processes, and people are identified to support the defined outcomes. 

  • Keep across trends in payments, ensuring you can develop appropriate solutions for our customers and act as a trusted advisor 

What we are looking for….. 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role – account management & payments experience essential  

  • Experience working closely with an Inside sales team, knowledge sharing and delivering internal training 

  • Experience providing solutions based on customer needs and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes 

  • Experience in contract negotiation and renewal management, especially in a SaaS/Subscription based business model 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels (including C suite)
