About this Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to provide professional engineering services in traffic engineering, road safety and infrastructure network planning.
Some of the tasks that will be undertaken:
- Selection of traffic engineering, road safety treatments and parking treatments.
- Scoping and preliminary design of traffic and transport projects and programs.
- Assist with the assessment of parking and transport impact assessments.
- Pedestrian and cycling infrastructure selection and design including trails ways, Bicycle Plans, ad path network planning.
- Promotion of sustainable transport modes in the community, including energy efficiency, emissions reductions, cycling, pedestrian and public transport infrastructure.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 75 hours over a 9-day fortnight with a rostered day off.
About the Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of Level 7 being $87,066 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation. Other inclusions are annual increments, a generous superannuation co-contribution scheme, annual leave with loading and sick leave.
